Automotive Art Hits Automechanika Trade Show, Germany

Automotive Art show cased its state-of-the-art refinish system this week at the Automechanika Trade Show; the world’s leading trade fair for the Automotive Industry, in Frankfurt, Germany.

The trade show, which hosts over four thousand exhibitors, and one hundred and fifty thousand visitors from one hundred and seventy six countries, is the largest trade show for the automotive industry in the world.

This year Automotive Art’s joint venture partner in Poland, Multichem, opted to showcase its two refinish brands to visitors from around the world; Profix, which is the brand sold and marketed in Europe and the Middle East, and Automotive Art, which is marketed to the USA, Latin America and the Caribbean.

The highlight of the show was the launch of the company’s new water based paint solution, Aqualine 2G. This new advanced refinish system is designed to address first world markets where compliance to new environmental legislation is required. The waterbase system is extremely competitive against other systems in its class, and boasts colour matching for over one hundred and fifty thousand colours for all car manufacturers.

Dereck Foster, Executive Chairman for the Automotive Art Group of Companies, was ecstatic about the success of the show. “Our brand was exposed to prospects from around the world, and the feedback we received was extremely positive and exciting indeed.” He went onto say that the company had procured numerous new prospects from around the world, and that he expected the sales teams to be able to covert many of these to customers over the course of 2014 and 2015.

Doug Armstrong, CEO, was also on hand at the show and stated that representatives from the company had attended Automechanika for many years as visitors, and it was truly rewarding and exciting to see the Automotive Art brand now débuting at a show of this size and stature. Armstrong closed by saying the company’s vision is to grow on a global stage, and was excited about the feedback received on it’s new refinish products and colour matching systems at the show.
